My passion for jewelry started over 40 years ago at age 15. I entered the Gemological Institute of America (G.I.A.) at age 20 and earned a certificate as a Graduate Gemologist and a certificate in Jewelry Design and became a Jewelry Arts Instructor at G.I.A. During my career I created jewelry pieces for numerous boutiques and big name stores including Tiffany’s, Black Star & Frost, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom’s and Tivol. In 1994 I became interested in Japanese metal techniques and now I am one of a hand-full of artists practicing the art of Mokume Gane.
Each piece I make is a one-of-a-kind. I could copy and mass produce things but that would take the fun out of it and fun is good! – Bryan Brown
